Heaven is for Real Summary and Predictions

My book is titled "Heaven is for Real" by: Todd Burpo, the father of  the now 13 year old Colton Burpo. Colton had to have an emergency appendectomy when he was 3, and it was a miracle he survived. A few months later, he told his parents he went to Heaven and God sent him back to Earth. He proved his point by telling his parents what they were talking about during his surgery. He also told them about family members he had never met on Earth but did meet in Heaven.

My opinion on the novel is that its all true because Colton knew things that he should have never known. Even though he couldn't read yet, he could tell stories from The Bible clearly and accurately. After his surgery, Colton told his father he met his great grandfather named Pop (whom had died 30 years earlier). His father then showed him a picture of his Pop just before he passed away. Colton says that everyone is young in heaven so Todd searches for a photo of Pop in his 20's and Colton agrees that's what Pop looks like in heaven.

I'm about halfway through the book and I think Colton will get a visit from God again soon. I don't think Colton will get sick again, but I think God might visit him in a dream.

    This book must be really intense... especially since it feels like there are many events going at the same time.

    This sounds like a great book, I really want to read it next once i finish everlost. is it a hard book to read or is it a real page turner?

      since it's told by a five year old with his dad writing it down, it is a very easy read and you never know what he'll say next.

    I read this book about a month ago and loved it! I agree with you and think that the events actually did happen even though many people doubt it
