Opinions on "Book" Authors
There are so many people (me included) that think its really hard to write anything. Everybody says "its so hard to do my language arts homework" because they think they cant write. Actually you can. You just don't put the effort in to trying. Miss Cohen's students have written 2 page stories on random events that we feel explain us. As Merriam-Webster online defines, an author is " a person who has written something". I wonder how many people consider themselves authors and I feel like more people should consider themselves authors. I know everyone in Miss Cohen's classes should consider themselves authors because we've all written our narratives.

good point, but in my opinion you should have to get something published to be considered an author.

ReplyDeleteEven though something doesn't get published, and someone wrote it, your still technically considered an "author." I'ts just unpublished work.
What do you think makes it hard to write? Is it the concept or making the story long enough to consider it a novel?
ReplyDeleteYeah I always have trouble meeting the requirements for language arts assignment because of page lengths. It seems I can never get my thoughts on paper.
